Camp Rainbow is in its 60th year. It is a tradition of love and concern for individuals with disabilities through the efforts of many young people and adults who have made it possible. Camp Rainbow is a camp for children and adults with various types of intellectual and physical disabilities.
We provide a loving and accepting environment for campers to come and have a fun filled experience. We accept campers starting at the age of 8. Our campers have a wide range of intellectual and physical disabilities and we are able to provide a great experience for each individual camper.
The campers come to camp for 3 days, during which they enjoy taking part in the many different activities we provide for them.
We provide a fun, encouraging environment for our campers. Each day the campers have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities.
Some of these activities include:
The cost of camp is only $15 per camper. We are able to keep the cost low thanks to the generous donations of companies and individuals. If you know of someone interested in coming to camp, please feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to send out an application.
Donations allow us to keep the cost low for our campers. Our campers pay the same in 2017 as they did when camp started 58 years ago. See how you can help today!
mission & vision
Camp Rainbow has been a part of my life since 1996. I began as a volunteer counselor for several years, then served as cabin leader before assuming the director role in 2006. It is one of the most rewarding experiences in life, knowing you've made a difference for those less fortunate. It is a very special place for a lot of people...not just the campers we serve, but those who unselfishly volunteer their time and talent. I invite anyone who is interested in making a difference to contact us today!"
